Aboriginal Weaving with River Rushes

Discover Aboriginal weaving using river rushes from Ngarrindjeri contemporary artist Cedric Varcoe. Cedric will teach you traditional weaving techniques and share stories of culture and country.

Ngarrindjeri country stretches from the Murray River lower lakes to the Coorong and over to Kangaroo Island.

All materials and tea and coffee are provided. There will be a half hour lunch break so participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch and keep yarning!
