Located in a beautiful heritage building on the Main Street of Hahndorf, our Hahndorf Academy is the second most visited gallery in South Australia. We have a contemporary exhibition program with regular rotating exhibitions, as well as a stunning shop that showcases SA artists and creative makers.
Our museum displays artefacts and stories about the First Nations Peramangk people, German settlers and early 19thC village life. We run regular events and creative workshops including pottery and painting – we also take bookings for people who want to have their own art workshop with friends.
