The Lodge by Haus is a no frills, clean, tidy option for visitors on a budget. The location is central so exploring can be done on foot and there’s a choice of motel rooms or self-contained apartments with self-catering facilities. A solar heated, undercover pool makes it a perfect holiday winner. The Lodge by Haus has 19 self-contained apartments with either one or two bedrooms (go for one of four poolside options) or a three-bedroom Rustic Retreat cottage option with a fully fitted kitchen and an open-plan living room (great for playing Cards of Humanity). It doesn’t cost the world which means more cash left over for local wine and distillery visits.

Business Trip
There are 51 rooms (superior, executive, and indulgence spa suites) to choose from at The Manna by Haus, the latter comes with a balcony and spa. Bookings can be made for one or more nights and the location is right on the main street with easy parking, so it’s a great spot to stay if you’re passing through town. The Traditional Touch
Is there anything more calming than the sound of a creek bubbling through the Adelaide Hills? That’s what you get at The Hahndorf Old Mill. It’s all a bit like visiting Europe (minus the air miles).
