$250 million dollar ‘The Big Bratwurst’ amusement park in Hahndorf!
We are pleased to announce the development of The Big Bratwurst, a revolutionary new amusement park dedicated entirely to the world-famous bratwurst.
We’ve seen the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour, The Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha, & The Big Lobster in Kingston, but now we will have the world’s first Big Bratwurst in Hahndorf!
This exciting new project will be located in the heart of Hahndorf, where we are known for our rich German heritage, and is poised to become a premier attraction for both local residents and visitors from around the world.
After years of planning and anticipation, we are proud to confirm that construction of The Big Bratwurst will commence on July 10, with an estimated total development budget of $250 million. This landmark project is designed to offer a unique and immersive experience, blending the thrill of high-speed rides with the cultural significance of the bratwurst.The park will feature over 2 kilometres of bratwurst-inspired attractions, including the Bratwurst Blaster roller coaster, the Sausage Slingshot, and the Towering Sausage Tower—a 80m observation deck offering breathtaking views of the park and the scenic Hahndorf village. With rides reaching speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, thrill-seekers will have a truly unparalleled experience.
Additionally, visitors will be treated to a variety of other exciting attractions, such as the Bratwurst Boat Ride, a WurstWorld themed hotel, and a grand $15 million bratwurst sculpture garden that will serve as the park’s centrepiece. A signature water ride, the Sausage Sauce River, will take guests on an adventurous journey through giant bratwurst sauce fountains, adding an extra element of fun and excitement.
The development of The Big Bratwurst is a testament to our ongoing commitment to supporting local tourism, boosting the economy, and celebrating the cultural heritage of South Australia.
